Description
Welcome to the Human Rights Leadership Program for students grades 8-12. Youth enrolled in this program are motivated to support and encourage others, to inspire vision, and to accomplish goals.
Developed by the Wassmuth Center, this protected online program is open only to registered participants. Using Schoology as the format, the program guides learners to explore the topic of human rights, practice leadership skills and foster civil dispositions that build community. "This program is about more than just teaching about leadership and human rights; it puts you on the path to becoming a better citizen of our world," said a former program participant.
Participants who complete all three components of the program - online lessons, social action project and reflective essay - will be awarded an Ambassador of Human Rights certificate from the Wassmuth Center for Human Rights.
