    Summary

    Managing Difficult Conversations is a training session in which participants will explore relationships, problem solving methods, and unconscious biases, as they relate to, and sometimes impede trust and the ability to engage in authentic conversations with colleagues, clients, and others with whom they interact.

    Learning Objectives: Build awareness of diversity; Identify blind spots and opportunities for improvement in communication; Understand the implications and impact of responses to multiple communication methods; Learn and practice using skills for engaging in difficult, authentic conversation

    Training Outcomes: Increased engagement strategy development to build relationship and cohesion; Identification and utilization of best practices to enhance collaboration; Development of tools to support partnership; Development of personal action plans

    Trainers: Dr. Nancy Buffington and Laura Alvarez Schrag

    $50 Workshop Fee – combine with attendance at the Building Bridges luncheon for the business community (11:45 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.) for a discounted registration of $75 for both.
